     Applying as Volunteer Staff for the First Time    

Thank you for your interest in applying as Volunteer Staff at SEP So Cal! 

If you are an authentic Jesus Follower (who has graduated from High School)

and would like to join a group of people who are passionate about loving God, loving people, making an eternal difference in the lives of youth and being transformed yourself,

then you have come to the right place.

 

Here are the Steps to the Volunteering Process:

1. Decide if you want to volunteer to serve on staff at SEP So Cal by....

    - Looking through the list of positions & activities available.

    - Looking at the photos from past years to get an idea of what camp is like

    - Checking out the Staff FAQ page if you have any questions

 

2. Check to make sure you're available June 30th - July 7, 2012

    - Staff Training: June 30, 2012 

    - Camp Dates: July 1-7, 2012

Applications for next summer will be available in 2012



3. Once you've decided to apply, gather the following before starting the process:     
    - Name of the church you attend 
    - Pastor's name & email 
    - Name & email of a personal reference
    - Emergency contact name & number
    - Insurance Info
    - Medication Info (if applicable)
    - Immunization info (just need to know what shots you have or have not had) 

4. Begin the application process which has Multiple Steps:

    1) Complete Online Application Form

    2) Print, Sign & Return Consent Form    

    3) Send Pastoral Recommendation form to a Pastoral Reference

    4) Send Personal Recommendation form to a Personal Reference

    5) Get Livescan Fingerprinted (if in CA) once for life (if outside CA, call SEP re: background check)

    6) Mail us a copy of your insurance card (if applicable)
